The 15th edition of Jardins, Jardin, an annual event bringing together gardening professionals and garden lovers, is held this year from May 31st to June 3rd at the Tuileries. From landscaping installation ideas to tools, vintage items, and books brimming with gardening secrets, whether your fingers have been green for years or you’re just starting out in this wonderful hobby, botanical bliss can be found at this fair.
Gardens in the garden
It’s difficult to recognise the Tuileries amidst the thirty pop-up gardens installed throughout its lovely grounds by designers with fertile imagination. Here, the lawns undulate, the English-style grass grows strong and plentiful under the sun loungers, and rushes are assembled to form tall tapered huts festooned with greenery. It all adds up to a lush green paradise.
Chanel joins the garden party
Fans of Chanel will be delighted to learn that the brand will join the Jardins, Jardin festivities. At the heart of the Tuileries, Chanel will install a 200m2 temporary field ... If you have a sensitive and perceptive nose you’ll recognise various perfumes in their original state, including the May rose, tuberose, the iris pallida, geranium rosat and, of course, the jasmin de grasse found in the famous N°5.
