The fifteenth edition of the European Football Championship, or as it’s commonly known, Euro 2016, will be held in France. From June 10th to July 10th, football fever will spread through the country as 10 venues get set to stage thrilling matches. Carl Burgundy plans to take his son Louis to see his first game at Parc des Princes. Louis is filled with excitement at the prospect of being part of this great event.

A month of football

Euro 2016 is one of the most important events in the sporting calendar and Burgundy Paris is delighted to join in the celebrations. The Parc des Princes, which will host four group knockout matches is just half an hour from the Burgundy Paris by metro and not much more by taxi. It’s also easy to reach the Stade de France where the opening and closing matches of the tournament will take place.

Accompanied by SuperVictor

The mascot for the 2016 championship tournament is called SuperVictor and he’s depicted as a smiling young boy with cape and flying shoes. It’s a great image, and one that the organisers hope relays the spirit of friendship and coming together that the tournament represents.

An unforgettable atmosphere

We bet that Louis and Carl will take that spirit of friendship and fun to heart as they set out for the Parc des Princes and the Stade de France. We’re sure too that, sitting in the stand in an atmosphere that is charged with excitement and jubilation, Louis will soon be on his feet shouting his support and applauding the great passes and goals made by his heroes of the day. Father and son are certain to be swept up in the emotion of these magical sporting moments. Cheering, waving flags and finally, returning exhausted, ready to slip between the soft sheets of the Burgundy Paris.
