This year, the International Contemporary Art Fair (FIAC) confirms its status as the key international exhibition of modern and contemporary art. From 20th to 23rd October inside the beautiful Grand Palais - and also outside its walls in some of the capital’s most emblematic places – contemporary art is on display. The selected works are a far cry from the rigid images that sometimes convey the concept of contemporary art. As well as interesting artistic events, FIAC 2016 is also an opportunity to enjoy beautiful walks through the gardens, museums and monuments that are partners in the stunning “Outside the Walls” exhibition. Follow the beautiful course at the Jardin des Plantes, wander between greenhouses at Grande Galerie de l'Evolution, rush to Vendôme, or stroll in the Tuileries Gardens - a splendid setting for the monumental installations created by different guest sculptors. This year the Burgundy family members are going to be exploring contemporary art together so be sure to follow in their footsteps - the river shuttles that connect the Grand Palais to other exhibition venues enchant Louis and Victoire, nearly as much as they impress their parents! Finally, after a drink at Le Baudelaire Bar, they head for the comfort of their cosy room at Hotel Burgundy Paris to relive their memories of an exciting artistic day.
