The latest big Parisian fashion parades will be held this year from September 24th to October 2nd and will present the hottest trends in prêt-à-porter women’s clothing and accessories for spring 2019. Fashionistas, get ready!

A vision of spring

Autumn light suffuses the streets of Paris... But rays of sunshine light up the Palais de Tokyo, the Grand Palais, the Oratory of the Louvre and the Museum of Decorative Arts, where some of the Paris Fashion Week events will be held. These and other venues will feature the lines, materials and colour combinations designed by the greatest couturiers for their spring and summer 2019 collections. Dior, Mugler, Paco Rabane, Rochas, and Saint Laurent will be there, as will a multitude of up and coming creators, offering us a preview of the next big things.

A treat for the eyes

The young fashion designer Marine Serre, winner of the LVMH prize, Antonin Tron for Atlein, and Aalto will surely surprise and enchant us. Hedi Slimane, who earlier this year became the artistic, creative and image director at Celine, will reveal the new spirit he’s bringing to the brand during the much-anticipated collection unveiling on September 28th. Finally, there will be a fascinating break from precedent as Gucci presents its new collection in Paris rather than Milan! What an honour, and further evidence that Paris is now considered the world capital of fashion!
