From October 18th to 21st, 2018 the 45th edition of FIAC, the Foire Internationale d'Art Contemporain (International Fair of Contemporary Art) will be held. The splendid nave of the Grand Palais is the heart of the event, but the fair also takes place on the Place Vendome, Jardin des Tuileries, Petit Palais, Place de la Concorde and in the Eugène Delacroix Museum.

The latest developments in contemporary art

Over the last fifteen years, the FIAC has become one of the events not to be missed in the world of modern and contemporary art as well as design. For this 2018 edition, no fewer than 193 galleries from 25 different countries will be in attendance. Note the participation of 2 new countries, Greece and Peru, and the return of 13 galleries that have gained particular recognition on the international scene.

Not to be missed

There will be too many masterpieces on display to list here! However, we should mention the 100 Starfish installation by Elmgreen & Dragset situated on the Place Vendôme as well as the works selected by the Kamel Mennour and Thaddaeus Ropac galleries. Finally, it’s always a joy to stroll the paths of the Jardin des Tuileries where this year works by Calder, Skoda and Wang Zhan, among others, will be displayed.
