Is Carl Burgundy planning to spend Valentine's Day at Place Vendome? No, of course not. The square is beautiful and it embodies all that’s chic about Paris. However, if Carl was to be spotted browsing the windows, stopping to meditate or wandering from door to door, there could only be one reason for it – LOVE.  His dear Marie is the one that he carries in his heart and he’d love to offer her a magnificent piece such as those made by the exclusive jewellery designers in the Place Vendôme.

Lovers of vintage cars will know that the Retromobile Show takes place at Paris, Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre from 8th to 12th February 2017. It’s a golden opportunity to (re) discover the Jaguar profile, the classic DS and the mythical Ferrari family. For Carl and Louis Burgundy, the event is already on the agenda!

This important event is a must for gourmets and it never fails to light up the Parisian autumn. The 22nd edition of Salon du Chocolat will take place, as always, at Porte de Versailles from 28th October to 1st November. And, of course, Louis and Victoire Burgundy can’t wait to sample all the treats that await them at Salon du Chocolat this year.

The theme for the 2016 Nuit Blanche is ‘love’. The organisers are creating an event that is inspired by the romantic events of “Poliphile’s Dream" and you’ll be plunged into all the horrors and delights of his journey on a route that never strays too far from the Seine and those romantic bridges that poets hold so dear.

Carl and Marie Burgundy know it very well: just two or three steps from the hotel there is a flowery haven of peace and tranquillity. It’s a good place to enjoy a walk along the shaded paths with family or friends and it’s a lovely spot for a reading break or a picnic. Since they can’t keep a secret from you, they’ll let you in on it – their special place is the gardens of the Palais Royal.

Just like every year, the Rock en Seine festival will once again set up its stages, lights, tents and refreshment stalls in the heart of the beautiful French gardens of the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud.

Once again, the frenzy will take hold of shoppers and fashion victims in Paris. This year, the summer sales will take place between June 22nd and August 2nd in Paris.
